Coasteering

Coasteering is a fun and challenging physical activity that encompasses movement along a stretch of rocky coastline on foot and by swimming. Sessions can easily be tailored for various levels of ability and bravery so that the most or least capable participants can enjoy the same session equally.

Coasteering sessions typically include swimming in rough or white water & tidal currents and climbing, scrambling & jumping from various heights into deep water.

Ropes, as security on rock, are not used. Any climbing activity usually takes place above deep water, with safety spotters used where appropriate. Jumping and Diving are often seen as the most appealing and exciting part of coasteering.

Participants will be dressed for swimming in the sea (wetsuits, buoyancy aids, helmets etc.) and will be guided by our experienced instructors appropriately qualified to run the activity.

This is one of the favorite activities that we run, but is only run for the 8 warmer months of the year.
